YES I THOUGHT IT WAS LIKELY THAT THEY’RE SOMEHOW RELATED TO THE HIGHBLOOD/GAMZEE AS WELL - LIKE, SINCE THEY WHOLE SPLIT PERSONALITY AND THE JUJUS AND THE LITTLE CLOWN REFERENCE???Well, it’s kind of a stretch, but:
- uu calls UU’s blood “slime.” UU is also notoriously placating and kind.
- UU says the reason lime bloods were hunted to near-extinction is because they had an ability that was intimidating to the highbloods.
- I really, really think sopor slime is actually lime troll blood. It would explain why Gamzee would eat it to keep calm, and why it would rot his brain.
- UU keeps calling uu her “brother.” Hussie has gone on record and described moirallegiance as being “more than mere platonic soul bros.” So, maybe UU/uu reflects Karkat/Gamzee.

I never put it past Hussie to do something creative with colors. There are a couple different theories of color mixing. If you do RGB, which is additive, you get this weird murky brown color if you try to find a “happy medium” between the two colors.
